Shaping up to be a groovy day.

Sometimes I hate AST (Atlantic Standard Time). We are an hour ahead of everyone in North America with the exception of New Foundland who are a half hour ahead of us. . . I want to call NeoPost and of course, their office hours are 8:30 EST (Eastern Standard Time), not AST. I need to talk to them NOW, not in a bloody fucking hour!

My husband works for an American company and the project he's on is based in New York which is, EST, but of course! This means to keep New York business hours my husband isn't working from 9 to 5, he's working 10 to 6. By the time he gets home it's 7 or 7:30 in the evening and we're sitting down to dinner like we're fucking Europeans. Not that I have anything against Europe or it's peans. . . It's just that by the time it's all said and done, chewed and swallowed, it's between 8 and 8:30 in the evening and I feel as though I've yet to unwind from work and keeping in mind that I get off work at 4:30 and I'm home by 4:45, you can see how mentally exhausting this fact of matter might be.
